Woman, 83, Dies After Single-Vehicle Crash In Oak Forest: Police

OAK FOREST, IL — An 83-year-old woman died Tuesday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash on Oak Park Avenue in Oak Forest, police said Wednesday.

Dolores Larson, of Oak Forest, was driving northbound at 2:20 p.m. on Oak Park Avenue at 156th Street, when the car went off the road on the east side of the street, said Oak Forest Police Chief Jason Reid. Larson was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 3:19 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

The South Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash with the Oak Forest Police Investigations Division.
