Richards High School in Oak Lawn hosted 12 area football teams for the anneal Richards Bulldogs Passing Tournament on Saturday, June 22.
The event offers the first look at this falls crop of area teams and talent. The event allows teams to play in four rounds against opponents that might not ever play during the regular season.
Schools fielding teams for the Saturday morning tournament were Richards, Brother Rice, TF South, Sandburg, Hinsdale Central, Loyola, Lincoln-Way East, Marist, Harlan, Chicago Christian, Mount Carmel and De LaSalle.
Scores are not kept during the match-ups which allows 25 plays for each team.
