3 Candidates File For 4 Open Seats On OLCHS Dist. 229 School Board
Three candidates have filed to run for four open seats on the Oak Lawn Community High School D229 school board in the April 2025 election.

OAK LAWN, IL — The consolidated election on April 1, 2025 will feature several local races, including the race for the Oak Lawn Community High School 229 Board of Education. The last day to file petitions for the April election was Nov. 18, so the Cook County Clerk has released an unofficial list of candidates for school board races.
As in past years, OLCHS Dist. 229 has more open seats than candidates. According to the county clerk’s office, three people have filed to run for four open seats on the board, including incumbent Rob Loehr and challengers David McFee and Glenn Smith. Each seat is for four terms.
