Kacper Liszka Lives Up To Role As Captain Of Oak Lawn Spartan Boys Swim Team
The Oak Lawn Community High School junior recently took third overall in the Oak Forest Pentathlon against a field of 36 swimmers.

OAK LAWN, IL — He put in the work during the offseason, and now he’s reaping the benefits. Three-year varsity swimmer Kacper Liszka earned the designation as captain this year with a determination and drive for excellence. Consequently, early in the season, he is living up to the role of captain for the boys swim team at Oak Lawn Community High School.
The junior recently took third overall in the Oak Forest Pentathlon against a field of 36 swimmers. At the invite, he set two new personal records—one in the 100-meter butterfly and one in the 100-meter backstroke.
“His dedication to this sport in and out of winter season earned him the title of being captain this year,” head coach Derek Maciaga said. “His hard work and positive attitude has a large impact on the rest of the team.”
