OAK LAWN, IL — Alex Soto is like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode on the football field for Oak Lawn Community High School. Possessing speed, agility, and athleticism, it is only a matter of time before he goes off.

Tick, tick, tick—boom.

In the first game of the season last Friday night in Oak Lawn, he absolutely blew up. Soto amassed an impressive 200 total yards and scored two touchdowns, including a 96-yard TD reception in the Spartans’ convincing victory over visiting Wheeling.

“Alex return as a captain of the football program this fall and is already making his presence felt,” head coach Ryan Pattison said. “As the season unfolds, look for Alex to continue leading by example—both on and off the field—while highlighting the explosive talent that makes him a key player to watch.”
