Burbank Area Cleared And Power Restored After Car Crashes Into Utility Pole: UPDATE
Traffic has reopened in Burbank and power restored after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole.

BURBANK, IL — Traffic has reopened in Burbank streets and power has been restored after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole Monday afternoon, officials say.
Earlier, an emergency alert went out informing Burbank residents to stay inside their homes and not to touch any wires. Traffic was also diverted from the following streets, which have now reopened:
- From 80th & Austin to 80th & Central Ave
- From 77th St between Austin and Central
- Along 79th Street from Central Ave to Austin Ave
An updated alert was sent out at 2:30 p.m., stating that the crash has been fully cleared from the roadway and that ComEd crews successfully restored power to the surrounding neighborhood.
