2 Found Dead Burbank Home Determined To Be Murder-Suicide: Police

There were no prior calls for service at the residence involving either individual, Burbank police said.

BURBANK, IL — A death investigation of two people found deceased in a Burbank residence was determined to be a murder-suicide, police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner ruled that Stephan Howard, 45, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The second person, 35-year-old Brandi S. Fancher, died of multiple gunshot wounds. Her death was ruled as a homicide.

Just before 2:30 a.m., Oct. 10, Burbank officers were dispatched to a resident located near 77th Street and Lockwood for two gunshot wounds. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, the second person was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead. A handgun was found and recovered inside the residence, police said.

According to Burbank Police Department records, there were no prior calls for service at the residence involving either individual.

“At this time, there are no new developments and no additional information is available,” police said in a statement.
