Dwyane Wade Wears Laquan McDonald Tribute Shoes
The Richards High grad and Miami Heat basketball star posted a tribute photo to his Instagram.
Dwyane Wade inked his basketball shoes with a tribute to Laquan McDonald, slain last year by a Chicago police officer, writing #laquanmcdonald #justice #chicago on the sneakers.
Wade posted a photo to his Instagram account on Friday as protesters rallied downtown and closed the Magnificent Mile. Wade grew up in Chicago, graduated from Richards High School in Oak Lawn and now plays for the Miami Heat.
