How to Get One of Those $20 Weather Radios From the Village
You have a limited amount of time to get your hands on one and need to act quick.
The village is now offering residents the chance to get their hands on a weather radio at a discounted price.
The program is dubbed "Gift of Preparedness" and 1,000 coupons are currently up for grabs at Village Hall. Between now and Dec. 6, you can stop by between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to pick up one of the coupons.
The coupons will get you a Midland NOAA weather radio for $20. Once you have your coupon, you can pick up the radio at the Walgreens at 95th and Cicero Ave. The discounted radios will be available from Dec. 7 to 31, according to an Everbridge alert that was sent out to subscribers.
Representatives from Midland Radio will be at the store on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to teach you how the radios work
