OLCHS Music Students Selected for ILMEA All-District Honors Festivals
Oak Lawn Community High School is proud to have had four of its music students be selected for the ILMEA District 1 Senior Festivals.
OAK LAWN, IL — Every fall, students from all across the state of Illinois participate in a high stakes music audition process in hopes to be selected for the Illinois Music Educators Association District and State Senior Honors Music Festivals.
This year, due to the current health crisis, auditions were held virtually through video submission. Four music students from Oak Lawn Community High School were selected for the ILMEA District 1 Senior Festivals, including:
District 1 Senior Chorus: Theresa Tenn (senior), Addison Abrahamsen (senior), and Olha Huska (senior).

District 1 Senior Band: Jonathan Weber (senior).
These students are also eligible for the ILMEA All-State festival based on the scores from their first audition. They will find out if they advance on in early December.
