To attend a visit, please sign up to attend in Naviance. To do this:

1. Log into Naviance

2. Click on “Colleges” and “Colleges Home”

3. Scroll down to the bottom right, where you will see a list of college visits scheduled at OLCHS.

4. Select the visit you want to sign up for.

Registration will close one hour before the start of the visit. A link to the visit will be sent to all students registered at the start time of the virtual visit.

FAFSA- Seniors! If you need help submitting your FAFSA, reserve a spot TONIGHT for FAFSA Night. Counselors and volunteers from the IL Student Assistance Commission will be at OLCHS ready to help you file FAFSA.

Students MUST reserve a spot to participate in this event – due to restrictions we will not be able to accommodate walk-ins this year!

Pumpkin Decorating Contest- The Visual Arts Club and National Art Honor Society are hosting a pumpkin decorating contest. Students are allowed 1 entry per person. You’ll need to fill out the entry form to be eligible for a prize, but we would also love for you to post your picture to #olchspumpkin. You can win a $10 Amazon gift card! Entries are due Oct. 30th at 3:00pm. Happy Decorating!

S.A.D.D. Red Ribbon Week-"Hello Spartans! Red Ribbon week is here and S.A.D.D has so much planned. Each day of the week there will be a theme dedicated to the idea of Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon week is the nation's oldest and largest drug prevention awareness program. This event is an ideal way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. Many studies have shown that kids between ages of 12-17, 10.6% of them admitted to being current illicit drug users.

SADD has created a red ribbon theme week! Take a picture of your amazing fit and tag us on Instagram @olchs_sadd or twitter @OLCHS_SADD. Let's take a stand against drugs!"

Thursday: Lei off drugs

- Wear a lei or and Hawaiian clothes

Friday: Our school chooses to be drug free!

Tech Help Desk- OLCHS is offering daily iPad and app tech support from 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM in the Media Center. Students will need to check in at the Southwest Highway entrance, door 7. All students who come on campus must wear a mask and will be temperature checked and screened for COVID symptoms. No appointments are necessary. If unable to come to school, please take a screenshot of your issue and email ipadsupport@olchs.com.

Wellness Screening- The online Wellness Screening via Skyward needs to be completed every day prior to arriving on campus and a "Green Checkmark" needs to be obtained to show you are approved to come onto school grounds. Clubs/Team News

Girls Running Club- Have you found yourself running a lot more since COVID started? If so, Coach Szala is creating a 1000-mile club for any girl who would be interested in joining. You can do the runs with others or on your own. You will track your runs and work toward goal markers. The club will be starting November 2. If you are interested or just want to learn more about it, complete this survey.

Laugh More, Stress Less- Laugh More, Stress Less is having its Halloween Meeting TODAY, 10/28 at 3:00.
