Oak Lawn HS Looking For Nominees For Alumni Hall of Fame

High School looking to add to the 18 graduates who make up the schools Alumni Hall of Fame

Oak Lawn Community High School is now accepting nomination applications for graduates who have been successful to serve as role models for current students.

The OLCHS Alumni Hall of Fame was established to recognize alumni for their achievements and contributions. The program strives to provide current students with role models and to highlight the importance of setting strong educational and career goals.

Nominations are accepted throughout the year, however the committee has an upcoming meeting on May 27 to discuss nominees for Hall of Fame Class of 2015, and the committee is seeking additional nominations.

Nominations are accepted from anyone who can share the contributions and success stories of the alum. Only nominations submitted prior to Friday, May 22, , will be considered at the Wednesday May 27 meeting.

The selection criteria is based on the following components: has graduated from OLCHS at least eight years ago; has been recognized for a high level of achievement in his/her career field and has made significant contributions to that field at the state, national, and/or international levels; and has demonstrated leadership, character, and service, in a variety of venues from his/her field of expertise to the community, state, and national initiatives.
