OAK LAWN, IL — In the spirit of giving this holiday season, remote District 123 students wanted to give their teachers a little something to brighten their day. As the district has shifted to a Temporary Remote Learning model for the holidays gift-giving is a little harder than it once was. A group of remote students decided to thank their teachers through a class surprise.

During class the students disabled their cameras all at the same time, then after a moment or two, they turned their cameras back on with a note thanking their teachers for all they had done this trimester. The small gesture was a sweet way to show gratitude before students enjoy a two-week holiday break.
