OAK LAWN, IL — After running on the Oak Lawn Community High School varsity boys cross country team for the past three years, senior Charles Levora is getting the attention he has patiently earned. As captain of the Spartans, he is taking the role seriously and pushing his fellow Spartans to come along for the exciting ride.

“We would like to spotlight how Charles has been a great example of a leader and team player,” OLCHS head coach Marty Chappetto said. “He always does what he needs to do at practice and home. He has taken over as team captain this year and really owned the role. He is always getting his teammates out for off-season practices and Saturdays because he wants more for the team than just his own success. We are excited to watch how Charlie’s senior season goes.”
