If you're searching for a great family outing today, June 8th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Just a short drive from Oak Lawn, head over to Bolingbrook for an action-packed air show.

The Cavalcade of Planes is a thrilling event that appeals to aviation lovers and families alike. Taking place at Clow International Airport in Bolingbrook, IL, the event highlights a wide range of aircraft and offers guests the chance to take airplane and helicopter rides, watch aerial formation displays, and check out the exhibits at the Illinois Aviation Museum.

A standout attraction is the opportunity to fly in a Stearman Open Cockpit biplane. These vintage aircraft provide a one-of-a-kind view from the sky and let passengers feel the exhilaration of open-air flying. For a taste of history, the Spanish Lady AT-6 Texan Flight offers rides in a WWII-era trainer used to prepare wartime pilots. Another fan favorite is the Ford Tri-Motor, a classic aircraft from the early days of commercial aviation, offering a nostalgic ride through the skies.
