Sophomore Ben Delberto Ready To 'Let It Rip' In First Varsity Season For Oak Lawn Spartan Boys Basketball
Delberto poised to make impact for Oak Lawn Community High School boys basketball.

OAK LAWN, IL — Hitting the weight room and hitting the gym were just two ways sophomore Ben Delberto helped prepare himself for his first varsity basketball season at Oak Lawn Community High School this year. Now, the opportunity is there for him to make real contributions on the court for the Spartans. This two-sport athlete is ready to let it rip.
“Ben did a tremendous job this fall in the weight room preparing his body for the rigors of his first varsity basketball season, and also took advantage of nearly every opportunity to get in the gym and work on his game,” OLCHS head coach Jason Rhodes said. “He is driven to excel and works hard on the basketball court, the baseball diamond, and in the classroom. We’re counting on him to step up this season, and he is ready to do so.”
