Spirit Halloween Stores Open For 2022 Season Near Oak Lawn

OAK LAWN, IL — It’s the final week of September, and with fall unofficially underway, the Halloween season has arrived. And for all your spooky shopping needs, more than 1,400 seasonal Spirit Halloween stores have opened nationwide, including the ones near Oak Lawn.

Spirit sells Halloween décor, plus costumes and accessories for children, teens, and adults. The store closest to Oak Lawn is open next to Whole Foods at 9610 S. Western Ave. in Evergreen Park.

Customers who do their shopping online can filter costumes by category including TV shows, movies, decades, clowns — and more specifically, “scary clowns” — and more. Filters are also available by size, price, or rating.

There are nearly seven weeks until Halloween, but Spirit already has popular costumes, including characters from “Stranger Things,” “Top Gun,” “Encanto” and more.
