William E. Rook, Jr., of Oak Lawn, passed into eternal life surrounded by his wife and 2 daughters at his home on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Maggie, nee Rojas. Loving father of Kimberly Rook and Christina (Sean) Brody. Cherished grandfather of Gianna, Jackson, Hudson, Violet, and a baby boy due in January. Dear brother of Thomas (Marion) Swiontek, John (Cathy), Patrick (Francesca), Cathy, Michael Swiontek, Linda Badagliacco, Anne (Tom) Badagliacco, Marilyn (Mark) Crusing, Sharon (Stephen) Rook, Joy (Allen) Cunningham, and the late Kenneth and Carol. Fond uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Dear son of the late William Sr., Joy, and Julie Rook. Bill was a proud member of International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 2. He loved fishing, golfing, playing fantasy football, and spending time with his amazing grandchildren.
