
Oak Park, IL - A man's body was found Monday morning locked in a bathroom on the third floor of the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake Street.
The man has not yet been identified, and Oak Park police say there's no evidence of violence of foul play, according to a library news release.
Security personnel found the body at 10:30 a.m. Monday in a single-use bathroom. The Cook County Medical Examiner's office is expected to identify the man and make a formal ruling on his cause of death.

“This tragedy has shocked all of us,” David J. Seleb, Oak Park Public Library executive director, said in the release.
The third floor of the library was closed for about two hours Monday as police investigated. No other library closures are expected in relation to this incident.

“We will continue to work proactively with the police,” Seleb said.
