Calling Young Adults Who Want to Learn To Tell Their Stories
Join a 6 week workshop via Zoom on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm starting June 4 conducted by Tellin' Tales Theatre. One live performance 7/21!

Tellin’ Tales Theatre announces the next session of the Young Adult Writers Workshop. Young adults, with and without disabilities, are coached in developing a personal story around a common theme. This year's theme is “Unleashed Truth." The writers will remove the filters and honor their truth, unleashing powerful messages filled with emotion, insights and realizations.
Students learn writing techniques and how to develop their unique voice. The stories will be developed in a six week workshop via ZOOM. Workshops will be held Tuesdays from 6:30p to 8:30p, starting June 4th. This allows everyone to attend, no matter where they live. The program culminates in a live performance on July 21 at Mrs Murphys and Sons on North Lincoln in Chicago.
This program is led by Tellin’ Tales Theatre Program Director, Stephen Donart. With MA degrees in Theater and Curriculum Instruction and Design, he has more than 30 years of experience teaching, directing, and performing for schools and the professional stage.
