1. A Chicago teen was arrested in connection with a Maywood homicide, Patch reports. Kevaughn M. Mickles, 19, is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Xavier Harvey. (Patch)
2. Two police officials have been appointed deputy chiefs of the Oak Park Police Department, the village announced Friday. Dave Jacobson and Roderick Robinson will be sworn in Tuesday. (VOP)
