Heather Mack Seeks Treatment for Vomiting Blood
Attorneys were trying to get Mack to a hospital Wednesday to find the source of the internal bleeding.
Heather Mack, the woman convicted of the premeditated murder of her mother at a resort in Bali, sought medical treatment Wednesday after she vomited blood.
Her attorneys don't know how much blood she's lost, according to the Chicago Tribune via attorney Michael Elkin, but they are hopeful this incident is just a scare.
Mack and her boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, were each convicted in April 2015 of the premeditated murder of Sheila von Wiese-Mack of Oak Park, whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase in the trunk of a taxi outside a Bali resort in August 2014. Schaefer described in court how he bludgeoned von Wiese-Mack with a metal fruit bowl after a fight at the hotel.

Mack is currently in a legal battle over mother’s $1.56 million trust fund.
