1. A Kia was stolen Thursday outside West Suburban Medical Center, according to Oak Park police. The vehicle owner from Oak Lawn said the estimated loss is $12,000. (OPPD)
2. Illinois Speaker of the House Emanuel “Chris” Welch will host a Juneteenth event in Hillside on June 19, his office announced. The Village of River Forest is also planning a Juneteenth flag-raising ceremony Monday. (Library)

3. The River Forest Park District will throw its “Party in the Park” June 15 at Keystone Park. The free event will feature food, live music, balloons and bubbles for the kids. (Park District)
