Man Wanted In High School Student's Killing; Police Seek Public's Help

MAYWOOD, IL — Maywood police are looking for a man wanted in connection with the killing of a 17-year-old Proviso East High School student, according to law enforcement.

Dyron Underwood died in a homicide Sept. 16 in Maywood, police said. Rigoberto Estrella, a 32-year-old from Melrose Park, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder after being identified as the driver during the incident, according to police, but authorities are still trying to find Christian Corona, 23, of Maywood.

Corona, also known as “Bless,” is a Latin King gang member who frequents Chicago’s west and south sides, as well as the western suburbs, particularly Melrose Park and Maywood, police said.
