NBA could force OPRF star Griffin to move again

Oak Park High School basketball star Alan Griffin plans to stay with Huskies but NBA could alter his plans.

Alan Griffin’s basketball career with Oak Park-River Forest High School burst into prominence during summer league action where he averaged 13.5 points in a recent tournament after cracking the Huskies starting lineup late season but his father may be taking a job with the Orlando Magic of the NBA, according to a report on Forest Leaves.

Adrian Griffin and his family moved to Oak Park before Alan Griffin started high school while the father was an assistant Chicago Bulls coach, according to Forest Leaves. He has lived in a number of NBA cities during his lifetime. He said he hopes to stay put.
