Noteworthy, the award-winning show choir from Oak Park River Forest High School, performed for seniors and the community at the Oak Park Arms Senior Living, on Friday, November 17.

The song and dance ensemble is comprised of 20 or more students who present show tunes and holiday favorites, all with choreography.

“Our residents were so happy to have the high schoolers join us for the entertainment this year,” said Renee Steingard, director of resident engagement at the Oak Park Arms. “Noteworthy concerts are a very special way for the seniors in our community to kick off the holiday season. Intergenerational programs are so much fun for everyone involved.”

Now in its twelfth year, Noteworthy is a selective group of singers, dancers, and live band members who perform for the Oak Park and River Forest community and Chicago throughout the fall and holiday season.

The Oak Park Arms Senior Living is a rental retirement community which provides senior independent living apartments and a full schedule of activities for seniors. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
