1. Three cars were broken into late Sunday night, Oak Park police report. Attempted thefts were reported in the first block of Thomas Street, 700 block of North Taylor and 800 block of North Humphrey. Estimated damage ranges from $280 to $1,250. (OPPD)
2. Forest Park students held an event last week to honor a late teacher. “Walk a K for Mr. K” was held June 1 in memory of physical education teacher Marian Kosciarz, who died in January on a diving trip in Florida. (Review)
3. Al Rossell was named Realtor of the Year by Oak Park Area Board of Realtors earlier this year, the Wednesday Journal reports. The Oak Park native has been working in the village for more than 50 years. (Wednesday Journal)
