• Iroquois County Board met Dec. 9 (kankakeetimes.com) — Iroquois County Board’s Dec. 9 agenda includes appointing two Onarga residents, Norvin Wagner and Steven Schroeder, as drainage commissioners serving districts that cover the Onarga area. The board also planned action on the 2026 tax levy, animal control fees and agreements, highway maintenance funding, and a new ordinance targeting fraudulent property title filings.
