• Wayne A. Green (wgil.com) — Longtime Abingdon resident Wayne A. Green, who was born in Oquawka in 1925 and later served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, has died at age 100. Friends and family can pay their respects at visitation and graveside services in Abingdon on Saturday, December 20, with military honors and a church reception to follow.
