2 Cats Rescued, All Residents Safe In Apartment Fire: Orland Fire
The fire took place in the 153rd block of Treetop Drive Saturday, officials said.

ORLAND PARK, IL â No one was injured, and two cats were rescued when a fire broke out on the second floor of an Orland Park apartment building Saturday, fire officials said.
Orland Fire Protection District crews were called around 11:30 a.m. to an apartment fire in a 6-unit building at the 15300 block of Treetop Drive.
First responders found the fire and quickly got it under control, according to Orland Fire Protection District Spokesman Ray Hanania.

Crews searched the building and got residents out safely. The fire was contained to the affected unit, with several other units sustaining smoke and water damage.
The alarm was upgraded to bring other departments to the scene for assistance and provide coverage to areas of the fire district where station crews had been deployed to the fire.

The cause and origin of this fire is currently under investigation.
Firefighters from Lemont, Palos, Tinley, Homer, Frankfort and Lockport assisted the Orland Fire Protection District.
