The two drivers were exchanging information when the officer reportedly smelled marijuana coming from Tieman’s car. He denied having drugs. Police then noticed a glass smoking bowl in sitting on the driver’s side floorboard. Tieman consented to a search of his car, which is where police found a bottle with dozens of pills. A local pharmacist determined that the pills were Alprazolam, Oxycontin, Opana and Ritalin. Tieman was unable to show police a prescription for any of the pills.
