6 Injured When Car Struck Pace Bus
A car struck a Pace bus in Orland Park Thursday, while the bus was stopped to pick up passengers on 159th Street.

Six people were injured when a car struck a parked Pace bus Thursday in Orland Park.
The Orland Fire Protection District was called to 159th Street and 84th Avenue about an accident between a car and a Pace bus around 10:30 a.m., according to a release from the district.
A Honda Civic was driving on 159th Street when it struck the rear end of the bus while it was stopped to pick up passengers at the intersection with 84th Avenue, according to an NBC Chicago report.

Of the 11 people aboard the bus, six reported injuries. The six people were transported to area hospitals, according to the release.
Firefighters from Tinley Park assisted at the scene. The road was cleared after about 30 minutes, according to the fire district.
