Chamber Luncheon Set To Celebrate Local Ladies, Women's History Month
The March 20 event is held in partnership with the Orland Women's Networking Committee.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Registration is still being accepted for a March 20 luncheon to celebrate Women's History Month.
The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the OWN Committee, will host the luncheon on Thursday at Chicago Gaelic Park, located at 6119 147th Street, Oak Forest, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $65 per person for members; $90 for nonmembers. Pricing is also available per table. Tickets are sold online.
This year's event will feature renowned author Amy Kemp, who will present her transformative work, I See You: A Guide for Women to Make More, Have More, and Be More - Without More Work. Attendees can expect an engaging and interactive experience, complete with practical insights to enhance both their personal and professional lives. Copies of her book will be available for purchase, offering a unique chance to connect with the author.

Adding to the excitement of this event, the OWN Committee will honor two remarkable women for their significant contributions: one who has made a profound impact at a young age and another who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication.

The mission of the Orland Women’s Networking (OWN) committee is to unite professional women from all communities in a supportive and empowering environment. This luncheon exemplifies the group's commitment to creating opportunities for women to thrive in the business realm. Attendees will enjoy a delicious three-course lunch complemented by a refreshing mimosa punch bowl, along with the chance to win fabulous raffle baskets. A cash bar will also be available for those wishing to celebrate the occasion.
