District 230 Closes Schools, Opts For E-Learning
D230 schools will be closed and the students will shift to e-learning, officials decided Thursday evening.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Consolidated High School District 230 has decided to close its school campuses for Friday, in anticipation of what's predicted to be a significant winter storm that could bring up to nine inches of snow with 50 mph wind gusts to the Chicago area.
Students instead will shift to e-learning plans, officials said Thursday evening.
District 230 includes Carl Sandburg, Victor J. Andrew, and Amos Alonzo Stagg High Schools, taking in students from Orland Park, Tinley Park, Palos, and Oak Forest.
