The woman reportedly caused a 5-car crash in Orland Park Saturday night before attempting to leave the scene on "multiple" flat tires.
ORLAND PARK, IL — A Chicago woman was charged with DUI and numerous traffic offenses after Orland Park police said she caused a 5-car accident, and tried to flee the scene with multiple flat tires.
Police were called Saturday, Jan. 21 for a report of a hit-and-run, multi-vehicle accident at 149th and LaGrange Road. Officers at the scene saw a nearby car matching the description of the one involved, and showing "extensive damage, including multiple flat tires," said Orland Park Police Commander Kenneth Rosinski.
When police arrived, the woman tried to drive away, but "the damage to her vehicle led to her having another crash as she exited the lot," Rosinski told Patch.
