Foaming-Mouthed Addy and Coke-Fueled Tinley Window Basher Had Trouble in Orland Too: Cops
The Decatur attorney tailed a man he believed was married to his ex-wife, police said.

An attorney who went on a cocaine and Adderall-fueled window bashing binge in Tinley Park found himself on the wrong side of the law just hours before in Orland Park, police said.
Vichian Ford, 42, reportedly pulled into the lot of the Orland Park Police Department after tailing another motorist for “several miles.”
The other motorist had called the cops the night of Aug. 10 and then headed to the department for help, police said. When the man arrived, he reportedly got out of his Hyundai Santa Fe and ran to an officer in a squad car.

The man did not know who was following him or why he was doing it, police said, but after Ford pulled up in his Mercedes CL500, he shed some light on what he was up to.
“Upon speaking with Vichian, he explained that he was following the vehicle because he owed (the driver) money and was trying to give it to him,” police said.

Ford “went on to explain that he did not know (the driver) but he ‘assumed’ he was his ex-wife’s new husband to which he owed money to,” police said.
An officer reportedly asked Ford why he believed he owed the man money and Ford “stated, ‘I know this is going to sound crazy but … ‘“ and went on to tell how he had been watching television in a Decatur hotel room when a message from his ex-wife appeared on the screen. Ford’s ex reportedly instructed him to pay her new husband money for a car.
Ford then got in his Mercedes and drove north. Along the way his phone rang and the caller “told him to follow the vehicle in front of him at which time he saw” the driver of the Sante Fe, police said. The driver “signaled for (Ford) to follow him so he did so for several miles right into the parking lot of the police department.”
Ford “appeared bug-eyed and he had very dry lips and cotton mouth,” police said. He reportedly told officers he had taken prescription medication and was carrying pot in his pocket. He was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Just hours later, Ford managed to make his way to Tinley Park, where he smashed some windows.
When the cops arrived, they found Ford “yelling frantically,” police said, and a security guard told of him “foaming at the mouth.”
The Tinley Park police arrested Ford after he took a trip to the hospital.
The Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission lists Ford as a lawyer authorized to practice. His registered business phone number has been changed or disconnected.
