Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Mrs. Simms holds a special place in my heart. She is kind and hardworking and always brought the joy of learning into the classroom. I had her as a teacher 18 years ago, and I am now a teacher myself. She intensified my love for reading, and she treated others with the utmost kindness and respect. I am incredibly proud to have had her as a teacher, and I just hope that she is proud of me. I would not be whom or where I am today without amazing educators like Mrs. Simms. We need more teachers like her.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
She is one of the reasons why I became a teacher.
