Festival grounds will be fenced in. Expect touchless weapons detections systems and bag checks at entry. A youth supervision policy will also be in place the duration of the event. No children under the age of 18 will be admitted without an adult 21 years of age or older.

“This type of policy has proven to be effective,” said Orland Park Police Chief Eric Rossi. “This will reduce the risk of any adverse incidents taking place during the community-based weekend event.”

Each adult 21 years of age or older may supervise a total of four attendees under the age of 18. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

“Individuals under 18 years of age who are in violation of the policy will be escorted to a secure area to await their parent or guardian for removal from the event site,” said Chief Rossi. “While unfortunate, we deem this policy necessary in order to maintain a safe environment for everyone to enjoy.”
