Man Arrested After Stealing Vehicle, Crashing It: Orland Park PD

ORLAND PARK, IL — Officers with the Orland Park Police Department said they've arrested a man charged in connection with stealing a vehicle, crashing it and then fleeing on foot.

Residents may have noticed a heavy police presence in the area of Wheeler and Harlem Avenue as officers investigated the crime.

Police said the suspect, who appears to be in his late 20's with long dreadlocks and a white stripe on his jacket, was ultimately taken into custody.

The department has not released the suspect's name at this time or the possible charges he might face.
