Man Injured At Orland Township Hall After Election Equipment Mishap
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment after a large box containing election equipment fell on him during the unloading process.

ORLAND PARK, IL — A man who was unloading voting equipment at the Orland Township Hall on Thursday was injured when a large crate containing the equipment fell on him, officials confirmed on Friday.
A township spokeswoman said the township is aware of the incident, which took place around noon at the township hall. The spokesperson said that the man — whose name has not been released — was transported to a local hospital by Orland Township first responders and was in stable condition.
However, the township said it could not provide further information since the voting equipment is transported to the site by Cook County elections officials. The Orland Township spokesperson said that the county retains a private company to move the equipment, but said no further information was available from the township.
