Margo Jean (Stahl) Gambill Dies At 83, Service Set For Friday
A memorial service for Margo Jean (Stahl) Gambill is set for Friday, Feb. 23, at The Table in Joliet.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Margo Jean (Stahl) Gambill died Feb. 10 after battling Alzeheimer’s for the past decade. She had been living in a nursing home in Palos Hills. She was 83.
She was a longtime resident of Orland Park from 1969 until her husband’s retirement in 2000, when both relocated to Indiana.
During the 1980s, Margo was a dedicated volunteer at Palos Community Hospital, where she worked the front desk greeting patients and visitors, delivering flowers to patients’ rooms and being a source of cheer and comfort.

Margo was also a faithful member of Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park for many decades. She moved back to Orland Park upon the death of her husband in 2012, where she went to live with her daughter.
Prior to her illness, Mago had attended The Table in Joliet, where she and other members worked to build a new church.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Gambill. She leaves son, Tony Gambill, and daughter, Susan Guay, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at The Table, 1451B Black Road, Joliet.
