The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The single most pressing issue facing our district right now is returning our children and staff to a full day, full week in-person schedule that allows for not only the excellence in education we know and expect from D135 but also the social and emotional development and support that occurs in a school setting.
I intend to develop a thoughtful, proactive plan that determines and then safely yet quickly implements the necessary steps to return our district children to a full-time in-person learning model.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I have a strong history of community service in Orland Park and am an active volunteer in the D135 schools. I am detail-oriented, organized and make research-based decisions. I will strive to support actions that reflect the voice of our district families and our community.
