Motorcyclist Expected to Recover after Monday Accident at 131st and LaGrange
A car drove through the 131st Street and LaGrange Road intersection Monday night, striking a motorcycle making a turn.

Police are investigating a vehicle crash between a car and a motorcycle Monday night at the LaGrange Road and 131st Street intersection.
The Orland Park Police Department was called to the intersection between 9:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. about a two-vehicle accident with injuries. A car driving north on LaGrange Road disobeyed a red light at the intersection, driving through as a motorcycle was turning east on to 131st Street from LaGrange Road, according to Orland Park Police Lt. Tim McCormick said Tuesday.
The car struck the motorcycle, injuring the motorcycle driver, though he is expected to recover from his injuries, McCormick said. No one else was in the car when the accident happened, and the driver was not injured.
