Nationwide Fazoli's Expansion Could Include Orland Park
A popular quick-service Italian franchise has identified The Southland as the potential setting to kick off its pending expansion.
A popular Italian food chain is scouting several potential new homes in The Southland, one of which is Orland Park.
Fazoli's planned nationwide expansion next year comes with two additional Chicago-area restaurants, according to a Chicago Tribune report. The quick-service, Kentucky-based chain currently operates 217 restaurants in 26 states.
"The Kentucky-based chain said it is scouting locations southwest of the city, including Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Burbank and Orland Park," the article said. "The first location is slated to open next spring, and the second is expected to open in fall 2017, according to CEO Carl Howard."

Eventually, the business could have as many as 25 sites throughout the Chicago area, Howard noted. Fazoli's offers an array of Italian dishes including pastas, salads and sandwiches. It also boasts a catering menu and kids and family specials.
