Richard F. Obrzut
Richard F. Obrzut, age 78, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 20, 2024. He was born July 26, 1945 to the late Mary (nee Kolak) and Frank Obrzut in Chicago, IL. Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Obrzut; his three sons, James (Becky) Obrzut, Thomas (Erin) Obrzut, and Daniel (Robin) Obrzut; eleven adoring grandchildren; and his sister, Theresa (the late Ronald) Weindorfer. He was an educator at Homer Jr. High for 33 years. He was also a coach and referee of many sports. He enjoyed time spent with his family and on the golf course. A memorial service for Richard F. Obrzut will be held at a later date.
