Opening Date Set For New Orland Park Aldi
The new Aldi location is set to open soon, with a ribboncutting and goodies lined up for customers opening date.
ORLAND PARK, IL — The opening date of Orland Park's new Aldi is set, with several days of special offerings also lined up for to celebrate.
The store, located at 11200 W. 179th St., will open its doors Thursday, March 16, according to the company's website. It's one of 150 locations expected to open this year.
A ribboncutting will be held at 8:30 a.m. The first 100 shoppers March 16 will receive a golden ticket that could be worth $100. Shoppers can also enter for a chance to win a $500 giftcard March 16–19. The first 100 customers March 16 also receive a bag of Aldi goodies, and a tote (while supplies last).

Officials last year annexed the six acres of land necessary to build the store, the village's second. The other store is located at 13145 South La Grange Road.
