Orland 6th Grader Loves Music & Theater, Inspires Others: Star Student
The pre-teen works diligently at violin, as well as ballet, and volunteers her time at local theater productions to help inspire others.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Teresa is a kind, caring and hardworking 6th grader. Even though she has a full plate with honors classes and playing the violin in her school orchestra along with ballet classes, Teresa truly loves to volunteer her time for local theater productions. Teresa has performed in several Orland Park Theater group productions and loves helping and inspiring younger theater group members.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
Teresa loves bringing joy to people in these difficult times. From bringing joy and peace with her music to her theater performances or just a kind, supporting word, Teresa really does spread joy.
