Orland Annual Report Shows Community is 'Destination Of Choice'

ORLAND PARK, IL â The village of Orland Park pulled out its bragging rights last week in its 2018 annual report that outlines the successes of the community that is "the destination of choice for people to live, work and enjoy life," officials said.
The report highlights major aspects of government performance and community life, including budget health, public safety and economic development.
Orland, the report said, won several award for fiscal planning and management and for safety at the Centennial Park Aquatic Center.

The crime rate is the lowest is has been since 2013, police reported.
Development continues at a healthy rate, with 29 new home permits issued and 11 commercial commercial buildings built last year, the report showed.
