Orland Chamber's SummerFest Returns After Big 2023 Debut

The event will be held June 14–16 at the 153rd Street Metra station in Orland Park.

ORLAND PARK, IL — After a successful debut in 2023, the Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce's SummerFest is back for another jam-packed weekend Friday, June 14, through Sunday, June 16.

The event combines a carnival, live music, an array of dining options and a car show, at the 153rd Street Metra Station location in Orland Park.

"Last year’s debut SummerFest event was bigger and better than we could have imagined," said Chamber President Ramzi Hassan. "We anticipate another great event this year with some exciting new additions and something for everyone."

The event will kick off on Friday, June 14 with a Sensory Carnival Session for individuals with special needs from 1:30 to 4 p.m. The carnival is open to the general public beginning at 5 p.m.

The fun will continue Saturday, June 15 when the carnival opens at 12 p.m. and live music will be going strong until 11 p.m.

Sunday is the final day of the event, beginning with a noon opening and a car show at 3 p.m. Live music will be available on the main stage until 9 p.m.

"Concertgoers won’t want to miss this event," said Hassan. "We have a diverse, top-notch lineup of bands spanning the weekend for nonstop concert-style entertainment."

Andrew Scott Denlinger will kick things off on the main stage on Friday night at 5 p.m. with a diverse variety of rock and roll, followed by local favorite Saving Grace at 6:30 p.m. featuring everything country. The first night of Summerfest’s musical offerings doesn’t end there. Get ready to experience the magic of Taylor Swift with Sparks Fly, the ultimate Taylor Swift Experience at 9 p.m.

Saturday’s lineup begins at noon with House of Music bands taking the stage offering a variety of favorites beginning at noon. Ramzi and the Loafers bring their talents to the fest at 4:30 p.m. with the ska/punk sounds. Following this already talent-packed lineup is the Who Dat Dere at 6:30 p.m., a cover band playing some of the greatest hits of classic rock, 80s, 90s and more. Closing out day two of SummerFest is Kashmir at 9 p.m. bringing the best of Led Zeppelin to the audience on Saturday night!

On the final day of SummerFest, things kick off with a DJ and some family fun on the main stage at noon. The Car Show begins at 3 p.m. with registration beginning at noon. PriSSillas take the stage at 3 p.m. with sounds of Zeppelin to the Stones, Dolly Parton to Johnny Cash, Blondie to 4 Non Blondes, Janis Joplin to Pearl Jam, surely something for everyone. At 5 p.m. the Of Perception, a Chicago-based, authentic Doors tribute band brings the sounds and feel of the Doors. Closing out the event at 7 p.m. is rock and roll tribute band, The Neverly Brothers, sharing everything from Elvis to the Beatles.

Guests won’t have to look far for a variety of dining options at the chamber’s signature event. Local vendors include Ice Ice Baby, Chick-fil-a, Eiffel Waffle, Joey's Red Hots, Palermo's, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Robek's Juice, Peppo's Subs, Frosty Dogs and Cousins Maine Lobster.
On-site VIP and handicap parking is available at the 153rd Street Metra lot. Free parking is available in the neighboring Metra lot on Park Station Blvd. accessible from 153rd Street just past the main entrance of the fest. Centennial Park ballfield parking is just a short walk to the venue, as well.
