Orland D135 Closes Schools, Opts For E-Learning Ahead Of Storm
D135 school campuses will be closed Friday and students will learn remotely, officials said.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland District 135 schools will be closed Friday, a decision made in anticipation of what's predicted to be a significant winter storm that could bring up to nine inches of snow with 50 mph wind gusts to the Chicago area.
The schools will implement e-learning plans, instead.
District 135 schools include Centennial School, Center School, Century Junior High, High Point, Jerling Junior High, Liberty, Meadow Ridge, Orland Junior High, Park School, and Prairie School.
